DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL MEDICINE

The Department of General(Internal) Medicine is concerned with treating the complete patient rather than just the ailment. Physicians play an important role in promoting a healthy lifestyle and assisting people in avoiding the causes of communicable diseases. The Internal Medicine and Preventive Health Department at S.A. Medical College focuses on lifestyle disorders such as Diabetes Mellitus, Systemic Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Hyperuricemia, and others. Infectious disorders such as Leptospirosis, Dengue Fever, Hepatitis, Malaria Pneumonia, Enteric Fever, and Tuberculosis are also dealt with by the department.  Patients  will receive high-quality primary and specialist care. For all patients, the department effectively provides the most up-to-date evidence-based diagnostic and treatment care.
